Manikya:
"Manikya is primarily a Guitarist/Songwriter who believes in "The Riff". Being a self-taught guitarist, he has contributed to many bands over the years with his riffs and arrangments. He's been playing the guitar since 2004 and grew up with a wide variety of influences that have helped him all through the many school bands, to his first official band "Vidroha" a Hindi thrash metal band that he joined in 2014. Since then he has founded the bands "Sāma", "Bad Breath" (Stoner/Heavy Rock Band) and presently he's part of the two-piece acoustic outfit - Echoes In The Dusk, where he showcases his songwriting through acoustic pieces of music arranged along with his bandmate - Akshay Bhat"
Tanuj:
Hailing from Bangalore, Tanuj is a musician full of life,
his music has the power to bring a withered species
back to life.
Drawing influences from reggae legends such as Bob
Marley. Tanuj plays the guitar and strums it as he
means it. he sings from the bottom of his heart.
capturing every detailed bit of emotion in his
melodies.
Music gives him joy and he has the magic of
channeling it to his audience. You know it's gonna be
a groovy and jovial experience for you when he is on Stage
Vriksh:
Vriksh is an independent singer-songwriter hailing from the mighty hills of Meghalaya. He started his musical journey five years ago and has since then, written tons of original music and worked with artists and musicians all over the country. He is a 2-times Sofar alumnus and is currently working full time as 'art' himself. His music draws heavy inspiration from Sufism, Hindustan Classical and Folk from all around the world. He calls himself ‘Vriksh’, with the thought in mind that one must always remain connected to their roots, even when they bloom into sturdy trees. When asked about his songwriting, he says he writes music to sing about the things people do not find the space to say. Often called as someone who “lives in memories” and one for whom khaana and gaana fills his world entirely, Vriksh is an artist rooted in his world and subsequently flowing in one with his music.
TRIPPINK ALIVE is a cosmopolitan community for musicians, painters, sculptors, dancers, writers, thespians, aspiring filmmakers, dreamers and doers. The brainchild of Ritopriyo Saha, TRIPPINK culminated from a tattoo & art studio into a wholesome community of 300+ creators with the same heart and zeal for the freedom of expression, looking to create a mark for themselves. Since 2007, TRIPPINK has not only grown to become a home for creative people from all corners who have come together and built their own little space, but also a headroom for incessant & exuberant artistic expressions.
