Love wine? What if i told you, you could paint with it too! Yes, you read it right.
In this workshop, we will explore an out-of-the-box medium of art - Wine Painting. Instead of using the usual and conventional paints, you will be taken through a step by step guide to using wine to paint a beautiful masterpiece of your own.
Workshop includes all necessary materials and a beverage - choose from a wide range!
My name is Madhuri Umashankar and I’m a multi-disciplinary artist exploring the intricacies of my mind through art while attempting to make a difference with the same. I have always been someone who questions conditioning and steers away from convention which is mirrored in the wide variety of mediums that I work with. I like to view and explore the potential of art in everything around me, so along with conventional mediums like acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, etc., I have also worked with mediums like coffee, wine, tea, phosphorescent paint, fire, 3D glasses and want to continue exploring further. I’m always excited by the idea of turning trash to treasure so I work with a lot of upcycled material like cassette tapes, eggshells, avocado seeds, old newspapers and so on.
I want to use my practice to bring people together, to touch lives globally and contribute to building awareness in creating a more inclusive world while also being conscious about using sustainable and planet friendly measures in my practice, and sparking conversations around the same.
