At the age of thirteen, Nandith Jaisimha, Founder of Sneaker Stories, received his first pair of basketball shoes, and hasn’t stopped pining over kicks ever since. The filmmaker-photographer has now amassed an impressive sneaker collection and is a cornerstone of Bengaluru’s thriving sneakerhead community, having connected various fans through meetups and social events. Here’s what this history-minded, sneaker saint has to share about collecting shoes, and the hype surrounding this burgeoning subculture:
