Belly dance; also sometimes referred to as Raqs Sharqi is an Arabic expressive and artistic dance that originated in the Middle East. Through belly dance, you can train your muscles like no other activity can do, strengthen your core, develop flexibility and achieve graceful and fluid body movements.
What To Expect:
In this workshop designed for beginners, we will explore fundamental Bellydance movements and learn how to put them together into flowing drills.
Fascinated by arts as a child, Nivetha began studying Belly dance 10 years ago under internationally renowned teachers.
After training in both Belly dance and Yoga, she discovered and deeply fell in love with Tribal Fusion Belly dance.
Over these years she has taught workshops and performed in various belly dance festivals. She also had the privilege of organizing Tribal Nritta – the first event dedicated to Tribal Fusion Belly dance in Bangalore.
Nivetha’s vision of dance aims towards the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
